Dinner at Julia

For a few select Friday evenings each fall, FLCC's Stage 14 transforms into a unique dining experience, thanks to the students and faculty in the Culinary Arts capstone course. Dinner at Julia offers innovative, multi-course menus in an upscale restaurant environment.

Experience Dinner at Julia

Dinner at Julia typically offers two menus at each service. One focuses on French cuisine inspired by the late Julia Child, and the second offers international or American regional cuisine. Students in the culinary arts program will prepare the meal under the direction of their instructors.

Julia also features special events, including a single malt whisky pairing dinner and a ten-course Italian feast. Students rotate through the restaurant operation weekly, learning to execute different positions, from chef de cuisine to dishwasher.

Details on Dinner Events

Dinner is served at 5:30 and 7 p.m. on Fridays when Julia is in operation. The price is $40, tax included. Cash and major credit cards are accepted only. Students with an FLCC ID will receive a 15% discount. Special events may have different seating schedules and prices.

Wine Service

Student-made wines created and bottled by FLCC's Viticulture and Wine Technology program will be for sale. Dinner patrons are welcome to bring craft beer growlers to enjoy as part of their dining experience. Glassware will be provided.

Please note that students are not allowed to serve any products containing alcohol.

Dietary Concerns

Menus can often be modified to address dietary concerns such as allergies or other restrictions. Please mention these concerns when you make your reservation. Recipes are available so patrons can be sure what ingredients are used in each dish.
