How to Access Electronic Databases
FLCC's electronic resources are licensed for the noncommercial, educational, and research use of current FLCC students, faculty, and staff. The EzProxy system provides off-campus access to electronic resources by validating that you are a current student, faculty, or staff.
- Select your desired database from the list on this page.
- Enter your FLCC username and password if prompted.
- You'll automatically be transferred to the database you selected.
Access to the Library's databases is restricted to current FLCC students, faculty, and staff with valid FLCC computer accounts. Review solutions to common access issues below. If you have any questions, please contact the library at (585) 785-1371 or library@flcc.edu.
You access the Library databases using your FLCC username and password. Resetting your FLCC password can fix many database access issues. You can reset your password online or by contacting the IT Helpdesk.

Database Security Errors: If you receive a security error, first try opening up an "incognito" window in Chrome (ctrl-shift-N) and trying to connect from there. If that does not solve your problem, and you are using Chrome or Firefox, look for an "advanced" button to click and accept the certificate. If there is none, try clearing your cookies (see below).
-
Update Your Browser: For the EzProxy system to function properly, you need to make sure that you are using the most current version of your web browser.
-
Set Browser to Accept Cookies: The FLCC proxy server works with most browsers, but you may need to enable cookies on your browser for the proxy server site.
-
Delete Browser Cache: Delete browsing, search, and download history using the browser instructions for each specific browser.
