FLCC is situated in the heart of the Finger Lakes region on a 250-acre main campus in Canandaigua, NY. The College is home to more than 50 areas of study. It is enriched with valuable resources, modern facilities, student opportunities, and much more.

Founded & Opened

Graduate Statistics

A Graduate Follow-Up Survey is administered each year at approximately six months after graduation. Recent graduates are asked about their subsequent education, employment and their opinions about the contribution of their Finger Lakes Community College education to their successes.

31% of 2023 graduates responded to the latest survey:

  • Transfer programs (A.A. & A.S.) — 41% continued their education and 75% were employed.
  • Career programs (A.A.S.) — 28% continued their education and 82% were employed.
  • Our graduates transferred to over 50 different colleges and were hired by over 100 different employers.

Financial Aid

  • In 2022-2023, 80% of FLCC students were eligible for some form of financial assistance.
  • In 2022-2023, approximately $18 million of aid was disbursed to FLCC students.

Standards of Excellence

Middle States Commission on Higher Education

Finger Lakes Community College is an accredited institution and a member of the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE or the Commission) www.msche.org, 1007 North Orange Street, 4th Floor, MB #166, Wilmington, DE 19801, (267) 284-5000. Finger Lakes Community College was last reaccredited through a Self-Study Review and site visit in 2022.

To be accredited by MSCHE, an institution must provide evidence that it meets the Standards for Accreditation as described on the Commission’s website. MSCHE is recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education to conduct accreditation and pre-accreditation activities for institutions of higher education including distance, correspondence education, and direct assessment programs offered at those institutions throughout the United States.

Finger Lakes Community College’s next self-study evaluation is due in academic year 2029-2030.
