Financial Aid

The DREAM Act allows eligible undocumented students to apply for the following state financial aid:

• Tuition Assistance Program
• Excelsior Scholarship
• Educational Opportunity Programs
• Other state scholarships

The Act also establishes a DREAM fund commission to raise private funds for merit awards for immigrant applicants from the state and allows families to start a 529 college savings account using an I-TIN.

An online application for state aid is available through the Higher Education Services Corporation (HESC).

In-State Resident Tuition

New York State residents are eligible for a lower tuition rate at FLCC and other SUNY and CUNY schools.
