NUR 105 - Nursing Process
This course is an overview of the Nursing Process aimed at guiding the learner in the use of the process in planning care. Each step - assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation - will be analyzed in relation to the Nursing Care Plan. Special focus will be applied to the process of diagnosis, i.e., the identification and description of client problems amenable to nursing care. Goal setting and the process of writing care plans will also be considered as major topics. (Satisfactory or Unsatisfactory grade.) Prerequisite: NUR 100 or an L.P.N./R.N. Prerequisite: Take NUR-100;
