CIN 263 - Minority Groups in Film

Minority Groups in Film fosters awareness of cultures deemed "other," according to ethnicity, sexuality, or identity by the mainstream society of the United States. Utilization of films from, by, and/or about these groups, as well as documentaries, will provide an artistic and historical representation of these cultures. This course also analyzes films as they relate to social issues dealing with minorities. This course carries SUNY General Education The Arts credit.
