Our mentors are here to help you discover ways to advance to the next phase in your writing process, whether generating first ideas or refining draft content.
To maximize your time with our mentors, we ask that you bring the following to every mentoring session:
- Project materials (syllabus, assignment, notes and drafts, or textbooks)
- Instructor or peer feedback
- Realistic expectations of what we can accomplish
Access Reference Materials
The Write Place provides access to writing samples and research formatting handbooks for APA, MLA, and CSE. Dictionaries and copies of current textbooks are also available, among other resources.
