Smooth Transfer to a Four-Year College
If you're considering a bachelor’s degree after FLCC, our academic advisors will help you connect with four-year schools and explore transfer options. We'll assist you in selecting courses that efficiently meet the requirements for both FLCC and your future college.
- Joint Admissions Agreements: These allow first-year students to gain admission to both FLCC and participating four-year schools at the same time. Gain peace of mind knowing your next step is set while you complete your associate degree with us.
- Transfer Articulation Agreements: These partnerships ensure your credits from FLCC will transfer directly and seamlessly to a partner four-year school. You can enter a bachelor’s program with full junior standing, saving you time and money.

Prepare for FLCC's Nursing Program
This program aligns with FLCC's A.A.S. Nursing program course requirements and expectations. As a pre-nursing pathway, this track introduces key concepts essential for nursing success. You'll complete prerequisite and general education courses that meet our nursing requirements and prepare you to enter our nursing program.
Direct Entry Option for Health Care Students
Beginning in Spring 2025, A.S. Health Care Studies (Healthcare Track) students who meet the following criteria will be eligible for direct entry into the nursing program:
- Completion of high school or college algebra or MAT 115
- Completion of high school or college chemistry
- Completion of 18 credit hours in the Health Care Studies program
- A grade of B or higher in BIO 171 and 172 (courses completed within 7 years)
- A cumulative GPA of at least 2.5

Innovative, Real-World Healthcare Training
Practice your healthcare skills in our recently renovated and expanded Sands Family Center for Allied Health. The space includes a real-life hospital setting, science labs, and a holography lab, which allows students to view three-dimensional images of organs to better understand human anatomy and physiology. You'll receive clinical training and guidance from our experienced instructors from day one and benefit from opportunities to practice scenarios.
Join an Active Health Care Studies Learning Community
FLCC has a student-led Health Care Studies club that invites anyone interested in healthcare to join. Many club members already work in the healthcare field and are eager to share their opinions, values, and experiences about the industry. The club meets about once a month to build community and assist one another in their studies.
