Get Support Through Single Stop
Single Stop connects students with essential resources and support services. Whether you need help paying for food, healthcare, childcare, or other expenses, this free tool can help you find benefits you may qualify for.
Quick and Easy Benefits Screener
In about 15 minutes, you can complete a short, confidential screening to see if you’re eligible for a wide range of federal, state, and local programs. This includes assistance for:
- Food and nutrition (like SNAP)
- Childcare support
- Health insurance (like Medicaid)
- Tax preparation
- Housing and utility programs
Once you’ve completed your screening, staff from the Center for Student Well-Being can follow up to discuss your results and help you take the next steps to apply for benefits.
Community Resource Map for Local Support
Single Stop also includes an interactive Community Resource Map that lists organizations and services available throughout the Finger Lakes region. You can use the map to find:
- Local food pantries
- Mental health and counseling services
- Housing and financial support agencies
- Other community-based programs
This map makes it easy to see what help is available close to where you live, work, or attend classes.
